2010 Paralympic Sledge Hockey Gold
The final day of sledge hockey at the 2010 Winter Paralympic Games here in Vancouver featured the USA against the Japanese. The Americans did not have a goal scored on them the entire tournament and held true in the gold medal game shutting out Japan 2 - 0. The 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics are now finished for me. What a long, intense ride it's been with two commemorative books completed and the third due out in early June. Now, as I finish up some editing over the next week, it's back to life as I knew it nearly a year ago with weddings and portrait commissions on the horizon as well as some book signings in a few major cities very soon. Stay tuned and hope to see you soon. Drop me a line if you get a chance.
2010 Honey Bronze
Norway defeated host Canada with a seeing-eye goal to break a tie with 3.6 seconds remaining in the bronze medal match.

2010 Sledge Upset
Canada, favoured to play in the gold medal game, was defeated by Japan in one of the biggest upsets of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Japan now goes on to play the USA for gold Saturday.
Italian Blue
The Italians lost 1 - 0 to Sweden this afternoon knocking them out of the medals. We're down to semi-finals for Thursday with Canada against Japan and the USA playing Norway.

2010 Paralympics Underway
The 2010 Winter Paralympics have begun here in Vancouver with opening ceremonies last night and today the first day of competition. I am covering the Men's Sledge Hockey from beginning to end at Friday's gold medal match with one day inbetween up at Whistler at the alpine events. If you've never seen sledge before you're in for a treat [have a peak on youtube]. These truly are modern-day warriors. So great to watch athletes compete at this level for nothing more than pride of country, spirit of heart and visions of gold. Stay tuned.
